Description

Fictitioua Tree is fun. This is a good spot for top roping and trad climbing. You can scramble (Class 2/3) up the back (right side) and set top ropes for almost all of the routes. You can top rope some of these routes without any trad gear, but some of the peripherial routes need a cam or nut, and some routes (Walk on the Mild Side) should really just be lead and followed.

Protection

There are two bolted anchors on top of this formation. You can lead up to them or walk around the back. Pictured are the left anchors (as of October 2025 they have 2 quicklinks on each hanger) for Walk on the Mild Side to Worth Bagley was a Bitch. Right anchors are for Coarse and Bulgy to Flail Away.
