All Areas > Horse Flats > Native Lands

Description

Native Lands was developed April and May of 2020 by Hugo Perez and Mikey Wally, Jorge, Erwinson, and Andrew. There are 50+ documented problems in this area. The 2019/2020 snow season was so bountiful that many of the dry creeks in Horse Flats kept running all the way to early May. It's actually the only time since I started climbing in 2014 that I have seen the creeks in Horse flats run like that. The Main area is more in the creekbed, and the Upper area is everything you encounter travelling south west hiking up and out of the creek.

Directions

Walk past Romeo Void and the Warm Up area (between Romeo Void and the Main Area). Somewhere between Silly Slab and Holy Water boulder turn left and walk south into the almost always dry creek. Alternatively if you are at The Peanut you can walk towards Scrub Jay and just keep going. This area is south/southwest of Romeo Void, and south/southeast of the Main Area.
