There is bouldering in and around the campground. Driving up the road past the rope area to the campground can be challanging.

This area, as of fall 2026, is TRASHED compared to other campgrounds that have climbing nearby (Chilao, Horse Flats, Buckhorn). Please bring a trash bag, there are bear trash cans in the campground you don't even have to haul the trash out. Also, there is a serial shitter, even though there are toilets. Someone or people have been shitting ALL OVER campsite 1, 2, and 3, and beyond. Shallow catholes. It's pretty fucked up.
